Description of dental insurance
Dental Insurance - Structure
In most dental insurance contracts we will request a refund from the insurer after paying to the dentist for the treatment you received.
For most insurance contracts, you need to sign a contract for about 3 to 6 months before paying the treatment fee. Some cover only for NHS dentists, others cover private treatment.

Dental insurance: What kind of treatment is applied?
The policy of dental insurance covers not only medical consultation, scale and polish, maintenance of X-rays, but also treatments such as NHS practice, private clinic, sometimes supplementation, root canal and crown. Cosmetic dental surgery such as tooth whitening is generally excluded.
Most NHS-only dental insurance contracts pay unlimited payment for NHS treatment throughout the insurance year. All of the private policies we saw set up the maximum benefit levels of check-ups, scales, polish / sanitary visits and treatments, and the rate of payment to it.
Comparison of dental insurance
The level of cover depends on whether the dental treatment you receive is from NHS or private clinic or whether the provider's price schedule or not. This table shows annual premiums for maintenance and treatment of 60-year-old health insurance.
